Dipset rapper Juelz Santana was arrested and booked in Bergen County, New Jersey today according to North Jersey.com.
The 28-year old, born Laron James is being held on $125,000 bail at Bergen County Jail inHackensack, NJ. He has been hit with a laundry list of charges including possession of a firearmand a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a handgun without having a permit, possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance, and possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance within 1,000 feet of a school zone.
The arrest comes after a 10-month investigation into the rapper, who police claim is associated with the bloods gang.
Last month during a raid on Santana's studio police found two fully-loaded 9mm handguns and 17 bags of suspected marijuana, said John L. Molinelli, the Bergen County prosecutor.
An associate of Juelz, Toby M Raynor was arrested at that time
Juelz has been a key member of the Diplomats group that also includes Jim Jones, Freekey Zekeyand Cam'ron.
He also has his own movement called Skull Gang, the group released a self titled album in 2009.
